Dr. Acuff resides in Cartersville with his wife and their four children. He has been in private practice for over 25 years with the last 20 years specializing in orthodontics for children and adults. Dr. Acuff received his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma and his graduate degree in Orthodontics from Emory University. He began his private practice in Cartersville in 1988. Additionally, Dr. Acuff is a Fellow of the Charles H. Tweed International Foundation for Orthodontic Research, the oldest post-graduate teaching institution in the world, where he is an instructor. Courses are held twice yearly for graduate orthodontic students, international graduate students and other licensed orthodontists.
Dr. Acuff stays active in his community by volunteering for numerous causes, schools and community projects. In his free time, he enjoys farming, snow skiing, reading, tennis, horseback riding and being involved in his children’s activities.
